Happy to do it again! LCF Grant Benefits Local Food Bank in 2024

Updated: Feb 24

The Brandermill, Midlothian, Woodlake Lions Club was again successful in obtaining a grant from the Lions Charity Foundation (LCF) of Southwest Virginia. On February 3rd, Lions Cynthia and Al Schlein presented a $500 check to the Sunday Park Food Pantry. The pantry is a joint venture between The Brandermill Church and The Boathouse Restaurant located in Midlothian, Virginia. The pantry is at the center of our community. They began operating in November of 2020. They now serve 20 to 30 families each week.

With the continued support of those in the community who have been richly blessed, the Sunday Park Food Pantry will continue to serve the community for many years in their mission to help alleviate hunger and malnutrition. The BMW Lions Club is privileged to be a small part of this effort.
