The Brandermill Midlothian Woodlake Lions Club honored Lion Bob Lee for his 55 year membership as a Lion at our annual Christmas Party held on December 12, 2024. Past District Governor Helen Person presented him with his 55 year Chevron Award.
Lion Bob joined the Acton, MA Lions Club in 1968. He remained a member of that club until 1997 when he moved to Harrison, ME and transferred his membership to the Harrison Lions Club where he remained a member until 2008. He joined the Brandermill Midlothian Woodlake (BMW) Lions Club in Midlothian, Va in 2008.
During many of the years that Bob was a Lion he lived overseas and was an "At Large Member" and would frequently visit clubs in the countries where I lived. Since his time with the BMW Lions, Bob has been extremely active in almost every event our club has sponsored. His ongoing commitment to the Lions’ motto “We Serve” has been the cornerstone of his involvement and leadership within the organization.
